Designed as a harvest basket but used for everything from a picnic basket to a knitting basket to a place to store kindling at the fireplace.

Pike's Original Maine Garden Hod measures 19-1/4"L x 11"W x 7-1/4"H and has a capacity of approximately two pecks (16 quarts) with the brand on one end.

    My husband received a garden hod for his birthday and it's very convenient, light-weight, and overall looks cute to carry our vegetables in. My 4 year old loves to help fill the hod with veggies. We loved it so much we gifted two more hods to our family members.

    I purchased one of these when I was in Maine a few years back and decided to get another as a gift to a family member. It wears like iron and is really terrific for gardening and bringing to the Farmer's Market. Highly recommend!

    This year we finally grew our own vegetable and herb garden. I knew I wanted one of these right from the start and although I've only harvested spinach and herbs so far, this basket was perfect! It's practical, incredibly well made and exactly what I wanted. I bought a second one item as a gift and he loved it as well. I can't wait to fill it full of fresh veggies and am already contemplating buying a smaller version. It's a practical item and will be used for many years to come. I'm also glad to support a New England business.
