Born of pure Yankee ingenuity, Pike's Original Maine Garden Hod reflects the very best of Maine's long tradition of functional art, craftsmanship and utility. Designed as a harvest basket but used for everything from a picnic basket to a knitting basket to a place to store kindling at the fireplace.

Pike's Original Maine Garden Hod measures 19-1/4"L x 11"W x 7-1/4"H and has a capacity of approximately two pecks (16 quarts) with the brand on one end.

    I have had the original hod for many years and it is still in excellent condition. I ordered another original and a small one because I needed more hods for harvesting. Both products are well made and will outlast me. I would highly recommend.

    Great functional garden basket. Best I have owned. Bought one for my daughter, also. Quality construction. Now I just need one of their greenhouses to go with the basket.

    It is perfect. I ordered one last year for my other daughter and now the daughter I’m giving the garden basket to just bought a house and the backyard is a gardeners delight.... she will love it for her produce that she’s growing..... I’m very happy with the product......

    Beautifully made and can’t wait to use it for the harvest from our victory garden. My only grip is the high shipping cost of $22. A minimum spend for discounted or free ship would be ideal.
